Ah yes,the lone star tick..I read about this years ago.. Pretty scary stuff though. That being said,other types of meat are still on he table.
BTW,if you want to reduce ticks,put up a possum house since they eat a lot of them.
We have lots of possums here. No need for a house, they make their own. I didn't know they eat ticks though.
Yup,snakes too and they are immune to venom from a bite.
Snakes in Australia get ticks.
Extra protein for the possums I suppose.
