Our idiot company is pushing this open office nonsense....and it's all about saving money, not about the people.....and what's really slick is they use the Delphi method to make it look as if it was direction from the staff to do these things. It may work for some industries, and that's fine, but they make it look as if all offices should be a Googleplex and that just ain't so.
Maybe it’ll be exactly what it took to finally get somewhere stopping the unconscionable practice of gum smacking, in particular; smelly, noisy eating, in general; as well as tacky, aggravating and inappropriate choices of footwear for the workplace. I mean, if it’s all right out there maybe it’s time to deal with it up front, right?
