‘Spiderman’ hero, who rescued boy dangling from balcony, starts first day with Paris fire brigade
The Malian migrant, who rose to fame after scaling four apartment storeys to rescue a boy hanging from a balcony, has started his first day with the Paris fire brigade. Mamoudou Gassama was nicknamed ‘spiderman’ after footage of him athletically climbing the flats to reach the boy was viewed millions of times on social media.
