‘In the right place, at the right time,’ Navy recruiter saves young man’s life.
From basic first aid to emergency CPR, almost every Navy Sailor is trained to respond to life-threatening situations. Out to sea, there is no civilian emergency assistance. Instead, each Sailor is a first responder, receiving continuous training with the hope that proper action during an emergency will become a natural response.
