There is literally no point in doing except for awareness (maybe) and politics. Obviously, these people are not going to inflict pain now and what exactly are we hoping they will learn? The punishment should've come right after the action, not a million years later.

There are hundreds of articles similar to this. I'm sure this will raise alot of discussion since you're either for or against legalization. I am against. I have several reasons, but I won't get into them here. I am going to say that maybe one of the reasons the federal government doesn't want to legalize marijuana is because since they already have laws in place, they don't want to go to the trouble of making new ones and having to reinforce them.

This is outrageous. This is going to hurt thousands of patients who need this, and I'm guessing most of them could barely afford the $13.50 anyways.

I agree with him on this point. You can't live on <$15/hour and support yourself, let alone a family, car, apartment, etc. I work for the government, and I can barely support myself. I can do it, but I choose to live at home. Lots of people don't have that option, and that's why we have so much crime, ghettos, DCS cases, etc.

I could lean either way. Tipping is good for the employees because the diners decide what they want to pay. Pay in restaurants should be based on the service. Tipping is bad because it's not a guaranteed income. And that's the norm. People don't like change.

I'm 29. I'm unmarried with no kids. I am all about the fast track. I want a career before motherhood. The "kid" bug hasn't hit yet, and I just don't want it to. I want to make a difference in the world, and not just by having a family. I'm still new (<5 years in) to my profession, so I think I have a lot of catching up to do.
