Would this not seem malignant on its own, without interfering with it? Is this really a well-behaved mole, with everything we see in the video and all?

It does rather look that way I agree, and if it were mine I would be off to the doctors to get it investigated pronto. But... moles on Asian skin may present differently, as they do on Black skin. I'm almost tempted to put a comment on YouTube. Shan't be posting any more mole videos unless they involve excision and are sufficiently interesting.
Or you could start a new tribe called mildlypopping
It had crossed my mind to start one on surgical procedures, but I think that would be giving myself too much work.
