Lots of hacks, plenty of information available on the Dark Web, yet are many of us truly affected by any of this? Sure, we have had to get our debit cards replaced and might have had to deal with spam emails trying to coerce us into sending bitcoin to avoid "embarassing things" from being sent to family/friends because someone hacked our AOL userid/password from 2002 that is no longer in use, but have the majority of us really been harmed? If we don't want our data breached, don't give it up so easily by shopping online or building social media profiles.
