... and again, why stay in high-priced coastal regions of the US when middle America has a vastly lower housing cost? Instead of trying to invent complex scenarios to fix this, why not just move? That is another solution.
Good point...And eventually they will be underwater anyway,so might as well move. There are lots of places just as beautiful as the coast and less expensive as well.
