The study in question concluded that wild starlings, when fed wax worms injected with levels of fluoxetine (the generic name for Prozac) equivalent to what the birds might be exposed to by “feeding on invertebrates at a wastewater treatment plant,” showed “conspicuous changes in foraging behavior.”

To clarify, this study wasn't looking at actual birds in the wild. Not saying we shouldn't be concerned about this, but not a fan of this study.

Wow, it seems like to me reckless shrimp are happy shrimps and light loving shrimps. Is it wrong to feel sad and think that the natural state of the shrimp is fear?

I love that the shrimp have cast off their inhibitions and got reckless. Maybe they're just not depressed anymore. Head towards the light little critters and enjoy.

I don't know why but the idea of reckless shrimp appeals to me. Through a human induced flurry of natural selection the super shrimp was born! All hail our future shrimp overlords!

Okay I think it's time for sleep.
