It's seems like we are having issues with water on a regular basis now. Can't eat anything out of the pacific due to radiation, can't use the water in W. Virg. due to chemicals, and now can use the water in N.C. due to ash.
I wonder if there has not been issues we do not know about. Technology helps us to find out about water contamination when they are not as obvious as this one in the Dan River now,but what about before all the Tech. Also word gets out faster with the internet.
Well we know that water has been unsafe throughout history, look at the beer wine consumption in Europe during the middle ages. You would think though in this day and age we would be more careful.
I agree but cutting corners is the norm for big business,so safety is not always a top priority . Sad :(
