    They have vowed to attach language approving the pipeline to a spending bill or other legislation later in the year that the president would find difficult to veto.

    This is bullshit. Not just for this particular bill, or for this particular party. I think that every expenditure over $X should be an individual vote/bill. We need to get rid of earmarking and hiding expenses.
