I know China likes having that buffer zone and everything, but why in the world are they not trying to reign this country in, if I were China I would be trying to make that "ally" a little more like China, stable.
China likes that yapping little chihuahua because it keeps the US controlled South Korea away from it's borders. They know if little Kimmy ever uses these things he will cease to exist, and China's fence goes away. Keep in mind, when there is stability and economic prosperity old enemies tend to get friendly. North and South Korea might get chummy and that also brings the fence down, so China will allow that nincompoop to continue his reign of doltishness.
I've said it ever since I became aware of the fact that North Korea exists, and I will say it again. The fact that they can develop nuclear weapons means at least two things: 1- They are technologically advanced enough that they can figure out farming, and 2- They have enough money to be able to feed themselves.
The world should cut off all aid to them. Any country that chooses to help them should also be ostracized from the world community.
