I live just far enough away that we don't see them here. You want to breathe through your nose when walking by the Lake right now! They were so thick on Lake Erie you could see them on radar yesterday.

My grandpa lives on Lake St. Clair and they are thick as peanut butter up there too.

I'd not call that an invasion,it's a yearly feast for many critters.
