Senate report: CIA misled public on torture
The CIA's harsh interrogations of terrorist detainees during the Bush era didn't work, were more brutal than previously revealed and delivered no "ticking time bomb" information that prevented an attack, according to an explosive Senate report released Tuesday.

Just more politics, the release serves no useful purpose.
Seems the current administration is "misleading" us and the the world on it's torture policies. President Obama has never cancelled extraordinary rendition. We simply ship detainees to foreign governments for sanctioned torture/interrogation(s). Where's any moral high ground?
