Iran Troops to Join Syria War, Russia Bombs Group Trained by CIA

Hundreds of Iranian troops have arrived in Syria to join a major ground offensive in support of President Bashar al-Assad's government, Lebanese sources said on Thursday, a further sign of the rapid internationalization of a civil war in which every major country in the region has a stake.

  But they helped the rebels to oust the Legal Government of the Ukraine and look how great that turned out. Crimea gets annexed, Russian soldiers helping rebels, the new Government asking for NATO help, knowing that's going to poke the damn bear even more. Russia backs Ukraine rebels with boots on the ground and they are evil. US backs rebels with boots on ground for training in Syria and Russia is still evil...mind boggling...
