Germany Breaks its All-Time Heat Record
Germany broke its all-time heat record on Sunday July 5, when the mercury soared to 104.5°F (40.3°C) at the official Kitzingen station in Bavaria.

Yeah that's a normal winter temperature here in Australia. Ok not really, but we get those temperatures all through Summer in Queensland. It's the humidity that kills.
It's been brutal there for sure. I read about the bats dieing in droves from your summer heat wave. I'd expect more of the same next year. Fires in Canada are running amok as well.
We do not hit that high of temps here in Ohio,but we have our share of humidity.
This past winter we've had weird days where we hit 30C, it's normally 15C
Extremely cold and a lot of snow here the last two winters.
My girlfriend lives in a house made of wood and she is on the top floor. She has been very very hot. I feel bad for her while I sit in my AC :(
