Thank you for these. I was looking for a book on china. Any one of this in particular that you would recommend as an introductory read on modern China?
I have not read all of these yet,By All Means Necessary, I would recommend. The article says if you search Amazon there are 515,394 books on China.
I tried getting "The Search for Modern China" just now, it's $1 for a used copy and $25 for shipping to Norway. Hrmph.
Have you tried the library?
At first I thought you were joking, then I thought 'They will never have that in Norway', then I thought waitaminnit and did a library search on it and they actually do have it! Thanks for the suggestion :-D
