California mother taken hostage in bank robbery was killed by police gunfire
Misty Holt-Singh, 41, was shot 'about 10 times' after she was used as a human shield by one of four suspects during a bank robbery on July 16, said Stockton Police Chief Eric Jones. Her 12-year-old daughter was left waiting outside for her in the car when she was grabbed at gunpoint.
