Aww thats areal shame i loved that guy

Oh man, I thought he was so awesome in Lawrence of Arabia when I saw it as a kid. Rest in peace.

With him, we have lost a one-of-a-kind actor and an outstanding personality.
Omar Sharif is globally known for his roles in many classic films. If you would like to enjoy him in one of his later performances, I can highly recommend Monsieur Ibrahim et les fleurs du Coran (2003). (Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=83ycIA5PjYA)
I've never seen any of his "major" movies, however my Mum reliably informs me he was in the spectacularly hilarious "The Parole Officer", which I loved (and would recommend to anyone). RIP.
