The oldest living continuous culture on earth, despite the last 200 years of colonisation and dispossession. Beautiful art, moorditj people.
This reminded me of the delightful SF novel, Air, by Geoff Ryman. The novel takes place in a remote village somewhere in Central Asia, where a woman transforms her community through selling traditional crafts online. It's a really great novel about change and the courage of those who embrace it.
I have heard of this book somewhere. Thanks for adding the link and I will check out the book.
