Little disappointed that Rizzo isn't starting, but also shocked he's behind Adams.
Ya it's pretty crazy considering Adams hasn't played for over a month and wasn't doing that well beforehand. Cards fans love their own, that's for sure.
I really hope that next year they prevent individual fans from voting so many times. If you use different emails you can vote infinitely. They'd get a more accurate idea of what the fans want by limiting the votes.
The question is how would they manage that? Based on IPs? Because that has some draw backs to it as well.
Personally, I don't like the voting online. I feel it would be better to have voting in the park only. This rewards the fans for going to the games. Plus I just have fond memories of being a kid at the game and poking out the dots of my favorite players.
I don't really like online voting either. But then again I guess I'm more anti-fan voting than anything as long as the All-Star Game has any sort of meaning to the overall season (i.e. Home Field advantage). But I definitely have those same memories that you do of poking out the dots for my favorite players!
I agree with you.
