116 year-Old Shipwreck Found in Lake Michigan

In February 1899, the 214-foot steamship John V. Moran sank in Lake Michigan near Muskegon.Now, 116 years later, the Holland-based Michigan Shipwreck Research Association has found it.

  The Great Lakes are something I really love about the area where I live,even though at times industry and cities have polluted the hell out of them. There are many things you can do here in summer because of Lake Erie,which is the shallowest of all the Great Lakes.

    I agree. I'm about an hour and a half away from Lake Michigan but there is always something going on in the summer.
