This jerk is probably waiting for media attention to die down so he either doesn't have to drop the price at all, or will only drop it a dollar.
Probably the only way to force this guy to be a reasonable human would be for his shareholders to force him to change the drug price or drop his stock. Is there a way to figure out who owns stock in a company? I'm thinking a letter writing campaign to shareholders may light a fire under this prick's ass.
The only way to fix the problem, is to allow generics to be made by anyone and limit rent-seeking behaviour by pharmaceutical companies. There is no way to force this guy to be a reasonable human.
