The meaning of the word is pretty dependent on who is using it. A girl on tumblr is almost certainly not saying the same thing as Killer Mike, who is almost certainly not saying the same thing as someone on /vg/. It was an interesting read, and he highlighted how interesting it is that different groups can claim variants of the same term, but he really came off as out of the loop.
