A List of Bands Banned on a Russian Radio Station and the Reasons Why
A list of bands and musicians banned on a Russian radio station complete with bizarre a set of reasons as to why they are not allowed to be played has surfaced online via Dangerous Minds. Included are Pink Floyd, who are not being played due to their interfering with Russian foreign policy, the Village People who apparently endorse violence, Julio Iglesias is listed as a neo-fascist and Talking Heads with the reason “Myth of Soviet military danger”.
