  • The "Oracle Of Omaha", AKA Warren Buffet was frustrated that his pilot was still working for him.

"The fact that you’re still working for me tells me I’m not doing my job. You should be out, going after more of your goals and dreams." - Oracle Of Omaha

Flint, his pilot, thought he was working on his goals - he was spending time each work on lots of projects.

The Oracle told him to write down his top 25 goals.

When he finished, Flint was told to circle his top 5.

“Everything you didn’t circle just became your Avoid-At-All-Cost list. No matter what, these things get no attention from you until you’ve succeeded with your top 5.” - Oracle Of Omaha

Warren Buffet, along with virtually every successful business leader is ruthless with his time. Anything that doesn't push him towards one of his top 5 goals is completely dropped. It is easy to drop habits like watching TV and feel we are being productive. The most dangerous habits are those that feel productive and can be rationalized easily, but have little reward.
