Absolutely. Not only is harming an animal with the sole purpose of harming him and gaining satisfaction from that highly immoral but, statistically, nearly all the people who have been found to behave like that have shown similar lack of sympathy towards other human beings.
Yep,cause it is a violent crime.
Why wouldn't it be?
