Trump says only 'stupid people don't want to get on better with Russia'
Donald Trump has said only “stupid people” don’t want to get along better with Russia. “If we got along with Russia, that would be a good thing not a bad thing”, he said during a working lunch with Baltic leaders. “And just about everybody agrees with that, except very stupid people.” While Mr Trump expelled 60 Russian diplomats last week, many still do not believe he is being tough enough on Vladimir Putin.
