crazy stuff. i have no idea why Synder keeps fighting this, he's been fighting the same battle for decades and i guess he thinks he can just wait everyone out.
Playing devil's advocate, I believe the main reason for Snyder fighting this is money. Regardless of how one may feel about the language and terminology being used, from a business standpoint asking the Washington Redskins to change their name is akin to asking Pepsi to change their name. They are looking at huge losses of brand recognition if they change the team name.
I do not mean to comment on whether or not the Redskins should change their team name here, but hope to at least point out one aspect of why Snyder is reluctant to change the name of his NFL franchise.
Okay, now I will comment for the record: The Redskins should certainly change their team name to something less offensive.
