I'm sure many of you have already heard of, and may regularly use this website, but for those who have not, it is a great platform for keeping track of anime you watch, as well as learning about anime. It has a huge database, and stores data about every anime known to man. It has forums for discussion, recommendations, reviews, and they even recently made a deal with Daisuki - an anime streaming website that allows you to stream for free, and is supported by ad revenue - to allow streaming directly from myanimelist.net.

Personally I use MAL the most and it's the first one to be updated with stuff I watch/read, the others are updated when I remember to use them.
My biggest problems with alternatives is that they don't support Korean animations like Saibi or Dwaejiui Wang.
Both of those look really cool for their own reasons. I love Taiga too much to change though.
You can add these to the post nope by using the "Add Related Link" feature :3
AHA! I did it first!! I'm the big shot now!!
Note on if you want to use hummingbird:
The rating system sucks. The UI is awesome in my opinion, the best out of all the `anime list sites, but the rating system is garbage.
You can rate shows using 1 of 2 methods: 1.) you pick one of three emoticons: happy, sad, or benign (-_- basically) or 2.) a 5 star system. Thats the main reason I don't use hummingbird. I'd ditch MAL for it if i could properly rate shows.
I haven't used any of the other sites so I can't comment on those.
