YES! Highlighting the new comments is such an important feature to me that I'm not sure how active I want to be here until we have it!

This would be a great feature. Another one would be some kind of indicator of which comments are new since the last time you viewed the thread. I don't think RES ever had that because it was a Reddit gold feature (? I never had gold so I really don't know).

I'm not going to lie, I'm generally entertained by reddit drama, but I think I can sense when a community is dying. Before reddit, I was on LiveJournal. Hoping that this place keeps growing and stays around a while!
