The days of full covid coverage are over. Insurers are restoring deductibles and co-pays, leaving patients with big bills.
The return of insurance deductibles and copays for covid hospitalizations has resulted in an uneven patchwork of patient billing. In some cases, patients in the same ICU can be hit with very different charges.
