Here's the original blurb, short as it is. Tangentially related, but I was reading on this just now: how CRISPR/cas9 could be used to the same effect. I'm curious to see what the actual paper will look like. Is it a reduction that's enough to halt progression? Or is it just a slowing down? And can we get there early enough? Besides, and I know little about this, how much damage is done already at the point you realise you've got it?
