Angels prospects throw no-hitter Inland Empire
The Inland Empire 66ers were unhittable in a 4-0 win over Lake Elsinore on Wednesday night. Jason Alexander, Zac Ryan and Sean Isaac combined to throw the first no-hitter since 2007 for the Angels' Class A Advanced Affiliate. It was also the second no-hitter in the Angels' organization in the past five days as No. 8 prospect Griffin Canning led Double-A Mobile to a combined no-hitter on May 28.
