The only thing that gave the online community a bad name was Zoe Quinn and the payola fueled assholes she fucked.
Also, moot's a dick for dating a gawker PR stooge and allowing that to influence his moderation philosophy.
It's more bullied people strike back at bullies. Had sorkesten not started calling everyone sexist because the hated her game, there wouldn't be a gamergate.
