One of the things I find most surprising about discussions concerning the advent of automated vehicles is that, besides predictable worries about the disappearance of jobs that currently require human drivers, there is a serious, and boring, lack of imagination. Most people seem to think the world will be the same as it is now, except that our cars will be driving us around. I am not convinced on the mobile vending machines. That seems a lot of work to quickly get your refreshment while in the car. Might as well just quickly stop at a convenience store....
I'm not so sure about this vision.
