All the fat rappers went to the gym. Article infers the obvious: being fat and wearing clothing made by FUBU are no longer cool. People in general want to live longer and not look like shit while doing it.
Rap these days is about image and not about the music. True rap died many years ago.
I'd say that's more an opinion rather than fact. I much, MUCH prefer old school rap but tastes in music change just like clothing trends. Twenty years from now our current young generation will be cringing at what the new young generation finds awesome.
