Petra Kvitova, of the Czech Republic, has defeated Eugenie Bouchard, of Canada, on Saturday at the All England Club. Kvitova defeated Bouchard 6-3, 6-0 to win the Wimbledon women’s tennis title.

Aw man. We had such high hopes for Eugenie Bouchard, sad that her hopes for a win were dashed. However, she was the first Canadian to reach the finals of a Grand Slam in singles so YEAH! Congratulations Eugenie for being a trailblazer.
