Germany Confiscating Homes to Use for Migrants
In an unprecedented move, Hamburg authorities confiscated six residential units in the Hamm district near the city center. A trustee appointed by the city is now renovating the properties and will rent them — against the will of the owner — to tenants chosen by the city. District spokeswoman Sorina Weiland said that all renovation costs will be billed to the owner of the properties.

I know you’ve been waiting an entire lifetime to use that sentence, but this article’s source is the Gatestone Institute, who give the cause of hard-core, mindless, mouth-foaming, rabid Islamophobia a bad name. Emanating as it does from the belching, sulfurous dark pit at the heart of anti-Muslim hate in the United States, if I were you I’d treat this link with all the respect it deserves. If /u/GeoLeo was my bot, I’d treat it posting this link as a dealbreaking, major problem. Gravitating to sensationalism and jingoism is one thing, running primary source hate is another.
Last time I checked we all have the freedom to share whatever we find interesting and conversation starting. You're not the boss of me!
If you want to post the Gatestone Institute, do. Posting something doesn’t mean you agree with it. I’m all for the conversation. Read this piece, though, and consider whether you’re bringing nuance with it, or venom.
I posted news, it is what it is, from this source or a dozen other sources. Reading the article made me interested and curious of what others have to say, as for my consideration, I believe all I can contribute is subjective opinion and bias.
My two cents’ worth is that this article is distorted, sensationalized, paranoid Islamophobic hatemongering, that even without reading the article even a passing familiarity with the source would’ve told you so, and that conversations are perhaps best not started on the basis of anti-immigrant screeds. Without having to interpret articles yourself, you don’t tend to post things from other hate groups like The Daily Stormer or the National Policy Institute, so it’s curious that Gatestone somehow makes the cut. Like I said, my two cents.
Your two cents were laid out in clear fashion in your first comment, and I respect your right to hold an opinion even one as strong and verbose as yours. As for the reason for posting this source, it's actually quite simple. I came across it on my facebook feed and felt compelled to share it. So, please, put down your pitch fork!

Well, for one thing I didn't know anything about Gatehouse and now I know. Who would have thought that a peacenik like John Bolton would be publishing anything but peace, love and multiculturalism!
