Dollywood is building the world's first launched wooden roller coaster

Dollywood has announced a new roller coaster, unveiling plans for a $22-million launched wooden coaster that will reach a top speed of 73 mph. Lightning Rod will open to visitors in March of 2016, according to park officials.
