Asthma medications in infants cause stunted growth
A report presented by 54th Annual European Society for Paediatric Endocrinology Meeting unveiled the study results. Finnish researchers suggested that infants given asthma medications during their first 2 years of age have a risk of stunted growth in later life. The findings highlight the importance of using these medicines in infants appropriately.
