Millions donated for cancer patients spent on gym memberships, luxury cruises, federal lawsuit alleges
A Tennessee man and his family who collected $187 million through charities promising to help cancer patients spent much of the money on themselves, from luxury cruise vacations to college tuition for their children, according to a federal lawsuit. Makes me sick to my stomach, what a bunch of scum
Several years ago when China had a major earthquake I donated heavily to The Red Cross China....and lo and behold, some trollip starts bragging about how the guy running the operation was buying her fancy cars and stuff...big uproar from the netizens in China...and that really threw me for a loop about donating.
This is exactly why I never donate to charity. Hard to trust even the good ones.
