Updating Windows 7 is getting harder and more expensive
Microsoft will sell Windows 7 security updates after the operating system reaches end of service, but it's going to cost you. Pushing the deadline is a bad idea.

Come on, upgrade to W10, once you've removed the "tiles" and deinstalled all the junk (which takes 10 minutes) it's 10 times better than W7 and there's hardly any perceivable difference in the interface apart from it's now much better. You'd actually have to concentrate quite hard to not be able to do anything as easliy as before as it's generally more intuitive.
