Plastics are a petrochemical product and just like with gasoline I'm questioning the thoroughness of environmental agreements. The industry is probably lobbying against said thoroughness, because, you know, money. The Paris agreements are just a facade, because they are not legally binding. The plastic agreements will probably go the same way. And, of course, since these agreements are not binding in any way, I question the sincerity of "our" leaders and also question the democratic value of them, since oil and petrochemical industries have a stronger and definite say in them. It sounds all nice and looks all good, but it's shit.
Cheap shit in my way of thinking.
