China is reportedly on the brink of 'major retaliative measures' against the US as the trade war escalates further
China is preparing to deploy "major retaliative measures" over the US' decision to blacklist Huawei, according to the editor of one of the country's state media outlets. Hu Xijin, editor of the tabloid newspaper Global Times, wrote on Twitter: "China will take major retaliative measures against the US placing Huawei and other Chinese companies on Entity List." "This move indicates Beijing will not wait passively and more countermeasures will follow."
