Well there is a fun little thing to do on the weekend. What instantly sold me is the conditions to get this thing going. Seems like there is a net gain of energy with the same energy output compared to the stanard "artificial muscle" I got a few years back.
Any figures to acompany the article would have been nice. Nonetheless it just boggles my mind how they essentially fabricate and demonstrate this thing in under 2 minutes.

I personally think we can accept machine-generated proofs as long as the author of the algorithm is vouching for its results. On a related note, isn't it possible to fabricate a "peer" algorithm which in turn "reviews" this tremendous amound of data?

Also a bit soothing for all 20-somethings who feel they need to be the next big thing right now. Takes the edge off a bit.

The distribution curve reminds me a bit of the Weibul Density Function. A very interesting read, surely a good conversation starter.
