While the change is meant to help keep music from leaking early online

    Good luck with that.

Right? I don't really get the logic. When I was a young lad, I didn't acquire music by alternate means because it was released on a certain day. I did it because I was poor as shit and couldn't afford $20 per CD, and I have always hated the radio. What CDs I DID buy ended up getting scratched or stolen (once my whole collection from my car, was around 120 CDs, a huge blow to 17yr old me). So when MP3s because popular, I downloaded the CDs I lost, bought CDs/MP3 Albums from artists I enjoyed (and wanted to support) and went on my merry way.

When Pandora became a thing, I immediately took to that over anything else, and when MP3 CDs could be burned for my car I was set. No more losing all my CDs, since I could just re-burned them. Then iPod/MP3 Players came about. Now I buy pretty much all of my music, unless it's an artist I really don't know about. Then I just use youtube until I've decided.
