Sea of Thieves Passes Two Million Players; Fastest-Selling First-Party New IP of the Generation
Today Microsoft announced that Rare’s newest game Sea of Thieves has passed two million players on Xbox One and PC. On top of this achievement, the shared-world adventure title is now the fastest-selling first party new IP of this generation. According to Microsoft’s own Aaron Greenberg, this specific achievement does not include copies distributed with Game Pass, which makes sense since those aren’t exactly “sales.”
