Binge-Watching Guide to Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
When it debuted in 1993, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine seemed like an odd proposition. After all, Star Trek: The Next Generation was still going strong, so the idea of a second series set in the same time period seemed superfluous, and the revelation that it wouldn’t be set on a starship, but instead a space station, felt ludicrous. How good could a Star Trek be if the characters weren’t boldly going anywhere?

Just watch it all, don't skip anything.
Except maybe the final season. Someone I trust once told me to stop with Portlandia after the third season, and because I followed that advice I can't be certain whether it was the right call. If I could go back and quit DS9 when we see the last of Jadzia, maybe I would... Maybe I would, at that.
I'm nearing the end of a new rewatch of DS9, damn season 4 is epic!
