81-year-old man finds son after discovering letter his wife hid for decades
An elderly man from Grand Rapids, Mich., has finally met his son after discovering a letter he believes was hidden by his since-departed wife for decades. According to FOX17 in West Michigan, Tony Trapani, 81, always wanted a child, and tried all his life to have one. But he thought it was something he’d never achieved. That’s until Trapani found a letter that was sent by the child’s mother back in 1959 that told him of his then 5-year-old son. That son is now 61.
